Supporting families who have chosen to carry a child with a life-limiting diagnosis.

Supporting families who have chosen to carry a child with a life-limiting diagnosis.

An estimated 690,000 unborn babies are given a life-limiting diagnosis each year.

Medical Professionals in the field estimate that 90% + of these babies are terminated following diagnosis.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

We’re changing the narrative, declaring that every family can find hope in the midst of sorrow… and they don’t have to do it alone.

Support Changes Stories

“One of the most important things that the organization has done for us is confirm a truth that we already believed- that Una’s life had immeasurable value, and the fact that her time would be short did not lessen her worth. By supporting families like ours both during pregnancy and after death, Abel Speaks sends a clear message that these babies matter and their lives make a difference.”

-Lydia Talic (Una’s Mom)

“When your baby dies, they kind of become a taboo subject, and people are hesitant to bring them up. Abel Speaks purposely uses Holly’s name and reminded us that she was real, her life had value, and she is remembered.”

-Rachel Hopton (Holly’s Mom)

“Abel Speaks has been a huge blessing to myself and my husband. Having support has truly changed our stories for the better. The fact that this space remembers our baby by name, and birthday, and milestones is HUGE.”

-Rebekah Oum (Ezra’s Mom)

“We cherish the keepsakes that have Lydia’s name on them. They help us have her presence felt and to keep her name in our daily conversations. It’s been an absolute blessing to be cared for and ministered to by Abel Speaks and other families who have traveled a similar path to ours. Losing a child is a lonely road, but it is made more bearable when others come and help you carry the load.”

-Rachel White (Lydia’s Mom)

“Abel Speaks provided a calm space in the middle of the chaos we experienced when we found out our daughter, Maggie, was deemed incompatible with life. It was so good for my soul to have a long conversation with someone who saw Maggie how Jesus sees her — not as a medical problem, but a being so beautifully and wonderfully made and crafted in the image of God.”

-Jess French (Maggie’s Mom)

“At 23 weeks pregnant we received the news that our son Samuel had Full Trisomy 13. Our providers told us the likelihood of Samuel surviving to term or even being born alive were very very slim. Our world came crashing down around us. I’m so incredibly thankful that we were encouraged to reach out to Abel Speaks. The support and resources provided by Abel Speaks has helped to change this journey into one of joy and happy memories.”
